Spring in Washington, DC brings flowers and renewed sunshine, but also the bittersweet departure of the UGRAD students. Over the next few weeks, the students will say goodbye to the friends they have made and try to cram their final experiences into time no bigger than the suitcase they initially brought to the United States. The re-entry workshops in DC and at the University of Utah remind all of us how much the UGRAD participants have grown and changed during their time with us. We hope that the UGRAD Alumni welcome these recently-returned students and help them become active members of their alumni associations in their home countries.
