Newman's Own Foundation Alumni Engagement Initiative
As part of the World Learning alumni family we invite you to apply for an exciting training opportunity. The Alumni Engagement Initiative, supported by Newman’s Own Foundation, is a continuing education initiative that focuses on planning and implementing civic projects in your community. Through online videos, peer discussions and interactive assignments you will have the chance to turn theory into action. At the conclusion of the course, you will be able to apply for a small grant. In September, ten awards will be granted (up to $3,000 each) to support innovative community projects. 
This course is only available to you, our alumni, and is free of charge. The online Moodle course will run from May 19, 2014 – August 31, 2014 and will cover topics such as volunteer management, activity planning, fundraising, proposal writing and monitoring, and reporting.
