Fall Photo Montage
We asked the Global UGRAD students to send us photos of some of the adventures they have been on this fall. Many are spending their time away from campus to explore new cities and nature. They are also busy participating in community service projects and making new friends. Their pictures serve as a nice reminder of how different fall can look all across the United States.
“The view is breathtaking just like Rara Lake in my hometown in Nepal”
– Somraj SR Sharma, University of Utah
“I’m also planning this fall to travel to more states with my friends and explore the beauty of this country through hiking and camping!”
– Karen Atallah, University of Alabama
“We visited some of the most precious sites of South Dakota, including Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Falls Park, Badlands National Park, Black Hills, Wall Drug Store, Crazy Horse Memorial, and others. This was one of the best weeks of my life, and I discovered so many new things about America and myself. I made many international and local friends.”
– Naira Khachatryan, Augustana University
“I went hiking with the Outdoors Club! We went to Bald Mountain Fire Tower which is one of the most popular hikes in the Adirondacks. It was just a 2-hour hike, perfect for first-timers like me.”
– Hilary Ladesma, Utica College
“My adventure on the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges in New York City.”
– Jose Ojeda, Keene State College
