World Learning at NAFSA
Global UGRAD staff attended the 2015 NAFSA Region I Conference from October 20-23 in Boise, Idaho and the Region VIII Conference from November 10-13 in Alexandria, Virginia. We thoroughly enjoyed exchanging ideas with our colleagues and peers from universities and development organizations alike! We also love any opportunity to introduce Global UGRAD to universities and colleges that have not yet heard about the program. Highlights included: poster sessions; an awards ceremony honoring our NAFSA coordinators; and attending sessions on improving mental health awareness among international students, supporting LBGTQIA participants, working with international students with disabilities, and updates from the U.S. Department of State. World Learning is also pleased to have been selected to present at this year’s National NAFSA Conference in Denver. We’ll see you there!
