The 2022-2023 Global UGRAD Program cohort will be in full swing this month! We are excited to welcome 310 participants this upcoming academic year, with 158 participants coming to the United States this fall semester. Our participants not only demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to service but also come from a variety of backgrounds, representing 61 countries. Each participant will attend one of our 80 host universities and colleges for a semester, where they will engage in academic studies, community service activities, and cross-cultural exchanges. To the right, Lucas Hoang is at the airport embarking on his first international flight to the U.S. He is traveling from Hanoi, Vietnam to Fayetteville, North Carolina, where he will be studying English at Fayetteville State University. He shares, “The moment I stepped out to Dallas airport, I thought I was dreaming. I have never been happier than now. I hope that I will have a wonderful experience, make many new friends, and learn more about the U.S. It’s great to be a part of the Global UGRAD family.”
