Connecting through food

When the smell of a delicious meal wafts through the halls of a dorm, it can only mean one thing…. international cooks are in the kitchen! One of the most popular ways Global UGRAD participants share their cultures with their host communities is through food. Naomi Ng from Malaysia and Airat Gabdrakhmanov from Russia took advantage of Western Washington University‘s (WWU) Global Gourmet Banquet in February and did just that with peers and university staff.
