Visiting UGRADers in the Lands of Lincoln and Bluegrass
In April, Program Officer, Jessica Mead visited Hien Thu Nguyen, Veljko Dimitrijevic, Maja Kulic and Luis Jancarlos Montoya Mejia at Millikin University and Illinois State University. Millikin is known for its commercial music program and Hien surprised Jessica with one of her original songs. Jessica also escaped the rain and wind to enjoy coffee and pizza with Maja, Veljko, and Jancarlos at Illinois State who are shining in their classes, extracurricular activities and internships at this large campus. Thank you, Hien, Veljko, Maja and Jancarlos for sharing a part of your world with Jessica!
Amy Fisher recently visited Fatima Pacas, Mayra Alejandra Chavez Caceres, Oyu Bayarsaikhan, Alessandro Simic, and Tijana Dimovic at Murray State University. On her visit, she got to see Alejandra and Fatima participate in the campus’s traditional song & dance competition, “All Campus Sing”. She was so proud to watch the International Student Organization take 4th place out of over 40 student groups. Gangnam Style never sounded so great before! She had a great time sitting in on Tijana’s marketing class and getting to hear the UGRADs’ impression of campus.
