Re-entry Takeaways

The UGRAD staff had a great time with the East Asia and the Pacific and Western Hemisphere UGRAD students in DC during the “Stars & Stripes” Re-entry workshops this March.  Hopefully, everyone made new friends and now understands more of what makes the UGRAD program so special- UGRADs!

Regardless of what region you are from, you were each selected to be a part of this program because of your potential to be a leader and your commitment to serving your community.  IMG_6027Everyone got to reflect on their own strengths and weaknesses in these areas through the DC scavenger hunt and community service activities during the workshop. No matter your style -East, West, North, or South- you are all leaders and have unlimited potential to do what you want.  The skills you learned and projects you engaged in during your time in the United States are a base for you to explore that potential.  The UGRAD team in DC hopes that you transfer these skills and the things you learned during your time as an active UGRADer into your IMG_6743time as a UGRAD Alumni.  Your UGRAD family looks forward to helping you achieve your goals, hearing your ideas, and learning how each of you will help to make the world a better place. Once a UGRAD, always a UGRAD!
